Dedicated to educating the Public,
both private citizens and elected officials, about the truth behind
the deceitful outsourcing of photo enforcement to Private
Companies under the guise of Public Safety via Local Civil
Nuisance Ordinances.
My supporters and I absolutely condemn this action and
do not support violence of any kind in our peaceful efforts to eliminate
Photo Enforcement. Our hearts go out to the Family and Friends of Mr.
Georgianni.
3-30-2k9 - Well folks, today is the first day of the
STOP Program.
Not a bad
start, really. Be aware that the North Carolina Supreme
Court upheld a law that required 90% of fines go to the State, which
effectively ended the Red Light Cameras in the State (with 1 exception I know
of) because it started COSTING Cities money to operate the Program.
In
my opinion, this blows a big hole in the "it's about safety"
argument.
Think about it, it's about safety when the money comes in, but
not when it starts costing the City money. Things that make you go
"hmmmm."
